Grant Description
Grants to USA public and charter schools in multiple states to develop STEM curriculum for PreK-5 students. Funding is intended for teacher training, supplies, and technology needs. Schools must be located in eligible communities in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Washington, DC, Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, Ohio, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Consideration will be given to public schools and charter schools located near the eligible communities that serve diverse and/or economically challenged schools.
Eligible schools must be located within the following counties:
- Alabama: Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Morgan
- Arkansas: Calhoun, Dallas, Nevada, Ouachita, Union
- Colorado: El Paso, Park, Teller
- District of Columbia
- Florida: Brevard
- Indiana: Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio
- Massachusetts: Hampshire
- Ohio: Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, Warren
- Texas: Collin, Dallas, Denton, Fannin, Hopkins, Hunt, Johnson, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, Wise

Schools may implement any PLTW Launch modules of their choosing.
Allowable Expenses: PLTW Participation Fee; Required computers and/or tablets; Program required equipment and supplies; PLTW Core Training and the following related expenses incurred: travel, room, and board
