Award to a USA or Canada English language arts teacher to recognize teaching excellence. The award is intended to honor a teacher of grades 6-8 who has inspired and motivated students and demonstrated excellence in teaching. The winning teacher will be recognized virtually at the Middle Level Get Together during the NCTE Annual Convention.
Purpose: To recognize exceptional English language arts teachers of grades 6-8 who have demonstrated excellence in teaching English language arts and inspired a spirit of inquiry and a love of learning in their students.
Nominees should demonstrate exceptional abilities in these categories:
