Grants of up to $12,000 to USA and Canada fire departments and volunteer fire departments for safety equipment and training. Funding is intended for fire departments lacking sufficient personal safety rope systems and requiring instructions on proper and safe usage of said equipment.

Grants will not exceed $12,000 per year. Grant requests exceeding $12,000, if approved, will be awarded at approximately $12,000 per year, and departments will be required to reapply each year.
Funds shall be expended within 6 months from the date of the Agreement.
