Grants of up to $7,500 and grants of up to $30,000 to Colorado nonprofit organizations and government agencies serving eligible regions for activities that benefit local residents. Applicants requesting a larger amount must contact program staff prior to applying. Funding is intended to support general operations, or programming within the focus areas of arts and culture, education, health and human services, environment, and recreation. Eligible organizations serve Routt and Moffat Counties and the Yampa Valley.
The 2022 grant cycle will focus on unrestricted grants. Unrestricted funding provides grantees the flexibility to assess and determine where grant dollars are most needed and allows for innovation, emergent action, and building sustainability.
Principle-based Criteria:
GrantWatch ID#: 172757
Grant requests should be limited to $7,500 or less. YVCF will consider larger grant requests of up to $30,000 that demonstrate significant impact within the Yampa Valley.
Your organization may qualify for a multi-year grant if you comply with the criteria set out on page 2 of the Guidelines, in Supporting Documents, below.
