Grants to Colorado nonprofit organizations for programs to benefit individuals with developmental disabilities. Funding is intended to support education, training, and research addressing the cures, causes, and treatment of cerebral palsy, and other nervous and muscular disorders and developmental disabilities. Funds may be used for purposes such as employment training and specialized schools for individuals with these disorders.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Grant ranges are between $10,000 - $50,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible, the following must apply:
- Your organization must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3).
- Your work must align with the mission of the Lowe Fund.
- Your nonprofit must operate in the state of Colorado.

Organizations that provide systems level advocacy, including legal advocacy, are eligible to apply for funding.

Organizations in rural areas are encouraged to apply.

The Foundation does not fund religious activities or programs that require religious activity as a condition of receiving services.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications must be submitted online to The Denver Foundation's grant application portal by August 8 by 5:00 p.m. MST.

Applications open June 27. You will need to register on The Denver Foundation’s grant application portal before completing your online application.

An application to the Lowe Fund does not disqualify your organization from applying to the Community Grants Program. If you meet the guidelines for each opportunity, you may apply for both.
