Grants of up to $15,000 and in-kind support to Colorado nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for capacity-building activities. Applicants must complete required registrations prior to applying. Funding is intended to help nonprofits advance projects, develop teams, plan for the future, and serve local communities. The goal of the grant is to provide resources to Jefferson County nonprofits that are on the frontlines of the health and wellness of the community.
Community First Foundation partners with Catchafire, an online platform of professionals who donate their time to support and strengthen the social good sector. Catchafire connects nonprofits with talented professionals looking to give back, allowing organizations to access expertise in areas such as marketing, web development, operations, strategy, and more.
Examples of capacity projects include, but are not limited to:
Grant decisions will favor organizations that can demonstrate the impact of the work in Jefferson County; have an organizational capacity-building need to be addressed over the next year; serve marginalized communities of need; and demonstrate a commitment to accessibility, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
