Grants to Colorado nonprofit organizations for projects that assist refugees in eligible regions. Funding is intended for small to medium-sized nonprofit organizations that help refugees and immigrants settle in the local community. Eligible proposals benefit the residents of Longmont and/or the St. Vrain Valley community.

Left Hand Giving Circle is seeking applications related to the theme of Refugee/Immigrant Resettlement – organizations that assist refugees/immigrants in the process of starting over in the community.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Up to $7,500 in grants will be made. In the past, Left Hand Giving Circle has made grants of $5,000 and $2,500 but may change based on applications.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

All qualified organizations are welcome to apply, but Left Hand Giving Circle tends to focus on small to medium-size nonprofits where they feel they can have the greatest impact

Although LHGC makes grants to nonprofits affiliated with religious organizations, they do not grant to those that only serve clients that share the same religious faith, nor to those that actively engage in activities that try to convert clients to their faith.

LHGC will not award grants to organizations that have received an award in the past two years.

Pre-Application Information:

The deadline for applications is 11:30 p.m., September 23, 2022; Decisions will be made by late October 2022.

Applications must include a 2 - 4 minute video that tells the Foundation about your organization and what you do, and also includes an impactful story about a client.
