Grants ranging from $5,000 to $27,000 to Pueblo County, Colorado nonprofit organizations to support senior services, mental health services, and programs serving the local community. Eligible programs must be consistent with the funding source’s mission to create measurable improvements in addressing unmet needs within the local community.

Funding Opportunities (2019-2020):

United Way Community Impact Grant:
- Programs that qualify should address a pressing, unmet need that can demonstrate a significant, measurable impact on the community and produce measurable improvement to the citizens of Pueblo County.

United Way Mental Health and Senior Services Grants:
- Special grant funds made available by United Way of Pueblo County Board of Trustees to any nonprofit in Pueblo County meeting a critical community need not currently funded by United Way. Programs that qualify should address a pressing, unmet mental health or senior service need in Pueblo County. Grant(s) are intended to focus on improving mental health or senior services for
local citizens.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Range of $5,000 to $27,000; smaller grants will be paid in full upon approval; larger grants will be paid quarterly.

Term of Contract:

United Way of Pueblo County will award one year special project grant(s) to nonprofit organizations in Pueblo County.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Non-profit organizations in Pueblo County with a federal IRS 501(c)3 designation and in good standing with the Colorado Secretary of State may apply. Both current United Way partner agencies and non-United Way partner agencies may apply.

The following will not be funded: proposals to fund established programs already funded with United Way dollars, proposals to fund prior year deficits and projects directed by for-profit organizations.

Pre-Application Information:

Deadline: Thursday, June 14, 2019 - 12pm, noon

Finalists will be interviewed as part of the decision making process.
